在至乐国际,我们一直在进行双语教学,让孩子们充分浸泡在双语环境中,从而促进语言的输入与输出。家长在择校有时也会比较关心语言方面的安排。

Here at Noble Kids House, we have been conducting bilingual educational environment for our kids, so as to promote the input and output of language. Parents sometimes pay more attention to language curriculums when choosing a school for their kids.

在班级里,我们在展示语言,乃至是其他任意一个工作时,我们经常会运用三阶段课程来进行。顾名思义,这其中包含了三个步骤:

We often use Three Period Lesson when we're presenting language, or any other job, which includes three periods:

其一,我们为物体命名(告诉孩子这是什么?)

First, we NAME objects (to tell kids what it is)

其二,认知名称 (通过游戏进行)

Second, we RECOGNIZE it (with small games)

其三,区分与应用

Third, we IDENTIFY and APPLY it

三阶段教学在班级里的运用

The application of Three Period Lesson in classroom

我们在班级里通常作用三阶段教学来进行词汇拓展。这不仅仅是指语言区的词汇,任意一个区域的词汇拓展都可以通过这个方式展示。

We usually help kids to develop their vocabularies with doing three period lesson. This is not just about the vocabulary in the language area, but the vocabularies in any area in classroom.

比如拿感官区来说,当幼儿能按规矩排列插座圆柱体,棕色梯,红棒等等,也能自己创作规矩图案的时候,我们就通过三阶段教学法来展示相关的概念词汇——长,短,高,矮,粗,细……

For example, in the sensorial area, when children can arrange knobbed cylinders, brown stairs and red rods in order and they can create their own patterns, we use the three period lesson to introduce related concepts and words -- long, short, high, short, thick and thin…

在第一阶段,我们为物体命名,通过蒙台梭利砂写字母板,我们用手描绘字母的书写方式,告诉孩子“这是a,a a alligator”这一步让幼儿专注于词汇的展示,知道物品名称

In the first stage, we name the objects. With the application of Montessori Sandpaper Letters, we trace the letter by finger and tell the child "this is a, a a alligator", so that the child could focus on the presentation of words and know the names of the objects.

紧接着,在第二阶段,我们会通过一系列指令小游戏让孩子进一步认知物品名称。“请把…放在这儿”“请把…放到自己的后面”“请给…展示…,并说这是…”“请把长的拿给我”……孩子们非常喜欢,当听到“把…放到头顶上”时都开心极了,这也是语言中出现的兴趣点。

In the second stage, we use a series of command games to help children to understand the name of the object. "Please put it here... Put it behind you. Show...to… "And said it is..." "Give me the long one, please" The children loved it when they heard "put... On the top of your head” 

最后,就是实际辨别与应用了,老师直接发问“这是什么?”幼儿说出具体名称,这个过程说明他/她已经掌握了相应的词汇,这个词汇是他/她熟识的一部分。

Finally, we come to the application stage, when teacher ask "what is this?" and kids respond with the correct answer. The process shows that children already master the vocabulary.

有的家长经常问“学校里有英文课吗?怎么上的呢?”我们并不需要找一个专门的时间去一教一学,平时的工作展示中,我们就在分享各种词汇,幼儿不断去吸收,这也是我们言传身教的常态了。

Parents often ask, "Are there any English classes at school? How do you guys teach English?" We don't need to arrange an official time to teach and learn. In our daily work presentations, we are sharing various words and children are constantly absorbing them!

三阶段教学融汇在日常生活中

其实在幼儿成长过程中,无时无刻不在通过三阶段教学法去探索所身处的世界。

In fact, children are always exploring the world with three period lessons.

在婴儿时期,成人就不断和宝宝说“这是你的小手”“这是你的小房间哦!”等到了幼儿时期,成人说“洗洗你的小手”“请你回自己的小房间”,他们就会正确认知,而当有一天家里来访客,或者幼儿和自己的朋友沟通的时候,成人就发现幼儿会很兴奋地介绍“这是我的小房间!”“妈妈说我们要记得洗洗小手!”从命名,到主动建立名字与物品之间的联系,到化为己用的过程,这不就是我们的三阶段教学吗?家长们经常因“不知道怎么教”而烦恼,其实,不知不觉中,孩子们已经“学习”到很多的知识啦!

Adults keep telling babies, "Here is your little hand." "Here is your bedroom." Then when it comes to early childhood, children will do it when adults say "wash your hands" and "please go back to your bedroom". When a visitor comes to your home one day, or play with their friends, wet will find that the child will be very excited to introduce "this is my bedroom!" “Mum says we must wash our little hands!” From naming, to find out the connection between names and objects, to the process of applying it, isn't that our three period lesson? Parents often worry about "don’t know how to teach". In fact, children have "learnt" a lot of unconsciously!

三阶段教学带来的影响非常深远,在未来的生活中,但凡涉及到了解新环境,学习新的词汇,我们都需要了解它的含义,并建立联系。别人告诉我们的事情,我们在新闻中了解的信息,我们听到一个故事,在具体了解后转而复述出来,就成了我们自己的知识,这就是三阶段教学!

The three period lesson can bring last long influence. In the future, we have to explore different kind of environment, learn new words, and we have to understand it! What people told us, what we know from the news, when we listen to a story, we try to understand it, retell it, and internalize it, and that's the three period lesson!
