The enlightenment era is fleeting, Trailblazers is about to enter primary school with glory and dream, to realize the new leap in life.
而作为幼儿园时期的最后的八月,伟才的老师们将围绕Science(科学)、Technology(技术)、English、Art、Maths(数理逻辑)五大学科,为宝贝带来快乐、充实、精进的SUMMER STEAM课程,同步提高他们升入小学必备的独立、社交、学习策略等素养,为童年留下美妙回忆,实现向小学生活的平稳过渡。
As the last August of kindergarten period, Great Man teachers will focus on Science (Scientific), Technology (Technology), English,Art,Maths (Mathematical Logic) five disciplines, bring happiness, enrich and improve the summer STEAM curriculum for babies, simultaneously improving their necessary independence, social, learning strategies and other literacy to enter primary school, leave wonderful childhood memories and achieve a smooth transition to primary school life.
课程安排示例
· 课程设计STEAM课程从8月13日起正式实施,为期三周,届时将由JP、Dayna、Julia老师授课,校监Nik全程协同,建立学习、教研共同体,带给年轻的学习者们“精深课程学习+高密度实践活动”的充实体验。
The STEAM course will be officially implemented for around three weeks from August 13th, where it will be taught by JP, Dayna, Julia and the Academic Director Nik will cooperate in the whole process to establish a community of learning and teaching and research, which will bring the young apprentices a fulfilling experience of "intensive course learning and high-density practical activities".
每个智能领域在程度上相对园本课程更加深化,给予学生丰富的机遇和思考空间,同时以互相融合、长期贯穿的切入形式,激发他们长久的认知兴趣和探究欲望。
To a certain extent, each field of intelligence is deeper than the kindergarten-based curriculum, giving the students rich opportunities and thinking space, and arousing their long-term cognitive interest and desire to explore in the form of mutual integration and long-term penetration.
·主题实践活动
相应主题实践活动与课程内容紧密结合,每一位探索者将在外教的带领下,做手工风筝、放风筝,拼建和认识人体骨骼,前往博物馆或主题公园探索恐龙世界,参与义工活动,游泳……顺应季节变化与自然规律,他们将有更多独立与自然、社会、人文环境沟通、交融的机会,这将使孩子们的敏锐、自在、高度适应等特质得到发扬,帮助其日后投身新集体、新环境,建立和适应新的关系。
Under the leadership of the foreign teachers, every young pioneer will make handmade kites, fly kites, build and understand human bones, go to museums or theme parks to explore the dinosaur world, participate in volunteer activities and swim. In line with seasonal changes and natural laws, they will have more opportunities to communicate and blend independently with nature, society and the human environment, so that the children's keen, free and highly adaptive characteristics will be carried forward, so as to help them join the new collective, the new environment and establish and adapt to the new relationship in the future.
无论是户外实践,还是具有挑战性与开放性的课堂探讨,都会让学生体会到自理、耐心、合作、持之以恒等探索真实世界的综合素养的重要性。
Whether it is outdoor practice or challenging and open classroom discussion, it will make the students realize the importance of self-care, patience, cooperation, persistence and other comprehensive literacy to explore the real world.
· 特别环节课程进行期间,每天还设有独立的阅读与户外游戏环节,外教将时时陪伴,围绕涉及不同领域的教育观念,在快乐的游戏和分享中实现不教而教。

另有特别安排——孩子们会以语音Vlog的形式记录一日所学与感想,同时独立制作专属书籍,不断用每天完成的作品或者采集的物品充实,留做纪念。

自我陈述与总结的过程,也强调这些未来小领袖参与问题的解决、沟通、推理、联系和表达的能力。

· 自我反馈STEAM课程格外注重反馈环节,小发现者们将在学习与活动中主动探索、自我评价,学会用发展的眼光看待自身。

很多时候,他们可能无法在一节课结束时马上获得成果反馈,但这也是校监Nik如此安排的目的之一:“我希望孩子们纠正‘付出努力后即刻要求奖励’的错误认识,他们应该形成不断努力的心向,并以行动促成成果浮现。”
