——江门市新会区广雅学校“三层三类之夏天课程
“四季课程”是我校三层三类课程中一个重要的校本课程,它更是多个学科融合在一起的STEAM课程。为何这么说?它的神奇之处在哪里呢?那我们就从正在开展的“夏天课程”说起吧!

随着春天课程的结束,我们迎来了夏天课程的开始。在二十四节气歌中有这样一句“夏满芒夏暑相连”,广雅学子在老师们的带领下,学习了我国传统文化,认识二十四节气的来源,知道了二十四节气的划分,更是在“立夏”中以“挂蛋”“斗蛋”等形式迎接夏天的到来,学习“小满”“芒种”对农作物的意义,在“夏至”“小暑”“大暑”的天气特征。

除了详细认识了夏天的六个节气外,我们还分别阅读了《夏日的一天》《夏天的天空》《蚂蚁和西瓜》等课外书籍,学习了《江南》《所见》《小池》《池上》等关于夏天的古诗,知道了古人是如何表达对夏日的赞美,也从古诗中更加深入了解夏天的特点。

对于夏天的天气特点,孩子们更是从天文、地理的知识点中了解到夏天炎热、伴有雷雨的原因,探究雨后彩虹的形成。更是通过“夏天在头上,头上戴草帽。夏天在街上,街上卖雪糕。夏天在池塘,池塘荷花摇。夏天在树上,树上知了叫。”这样一首小诗,深入认识夏天的特点。

随着夏天的天气变化,时令的农作物也会有所不同,而在夏天里盛产的水果又有哪些?在“夏日的水果”这个课程当中,孩子们除了动手制作水果拼盘以外,更是认识了夏天盛产的各种水果,真正实现了学中玩,玩中学。

古代,在还没有电风扇和空调的时候,古人在炎热的夏天里用扇子扇热。而新会这个地方,更是有“葵乡”之称。借着“夏天课程”我们知道了电风扇与空调发明的由来,还认识了最美的工艺品——“葵扇”,深入地学习了扇子的文化,也动手制作了扇子。

从以上活动看来,我校的“夏天课程”以孩子感兴趣的夏天为主线贯穿于各个活动之中,把各个学科融合起来,引导孩子们主动探索、发现和学习,在嬉戏中积累有关夏日的经验,引发孩子对夏天的思考。更是在阅读、古诗、动手制作、思考探究等之中体验夏日给我们带来的许多快乐,引导孩子们适当地关注大自然,引领孩子们到大自然中去倾听夏天的天籁之音,观察夏天里盛开的美丽花朵,品尝夏天里冰凉凉的水果与甜品……从自己的亲身体验中感知、欣赏夏天里一切,让他们过一个快乐的夏天,充分享受夏天里的特别时光,从中激发孩子们对生活的热爱!
在接下来的夏天课程中,对于中国传统节日——端午节、夏日戏水等活动更是多样性,让我们拭目以待吧!
