Let's see what the children of JCGS are experiencing when they are about to enter the first grade.

首先是STEAM课程。孩子们带上虚拟现实眼罩，体验最先进的VR技术。从虚拟眼罩中看到的景象让孩子们一阵阵惊呼。

First is the STEAM course. Children wear virtual-reality blindfolds to experience the most advanced VR technology. The scene from the virtual eye mask made the children scream.

STEAM教育理念最早是美国政府提出的教育倡议，为加强美国K12关于科学、技术、工程、艺术以及数学的教育。STEAM的原身是STEM理念，即科学（Science）、技术（Technology）、工程（Engineering）、数学（Mathematics）的首字母。鼓励孩子在科学、技术、工程和数学领域的发展和提高，培养孩子的综合素养，从而提升其全球竞争力。

STEAM education concept was first proposed by the U.S. government as an educational initiative to strengthen the education of science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics in the U.S. K12. STEAM originated from STEM concept, which is the initial of science, technology, engineering and mathematics. It encourages children to develop and improve in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics, and cultivate their comprehensive literacy so as to enhance their global competitiveness.  

随后，孩子们开始跟外教一起体验堡垒项目。学校引入专业的棒垒球项目，聘请专业的教练。在教练专业而又有亲和力的指导下，孩子们玩得异常投入。

Afterwards, the children began to experience the fortress project with foreign teachers. The school introduces professional baseball and softball events and employs professional coaches. Under the professional and affinity guidance of the coach, the children are extremely engaged in playing.

棒垒球在国内算是比较小众的运动。拥有棒球运动经历的孩子在申请出国读书时更具有优势，跟随活动的家长表示：希望孩子能从运动中发掘自己的潜能，找到自己最喜欢的运动项目。“我家孩子在打棒球前还玩过篮球、击剑等项目，最终发现还是比较喜欢棒球。”

Baseball and softball is a minority sport in China. Children with baseball experience have more advantages when they apply to study abroad. Parents who follow the activities say that they hope their children can discover their potential in sports and find their favorite sports. "My children also played basketball, fencing and other sports before playing baseball, and eventually found that they preferred baseball."

最后是美食环节。食堂为孩子们准备可口精致的甜点，玩了一个上午的孩子们吃得不亦乐乎。

Finally comes the tasty food. The dining hall prepared delicious desserts for the children, and the children who played all morning ate happily.
