Founded in 2014, NIO is a global automotive company with world-class research and development, design, manufacturing centers and user service centers in Shanghai, Beijing, San Jose, Munich, London, and fourteen other locations.

Position

Creative Technologist (m/f)

Your tasks:

• Identify best technologies and tools for our challenging tasks in the UI/UX Department

• Research and develop new ideas using cutting-edge technologies and techniques

• Prototype at different levels of fidelity

• Finding creative solutions to demonstrate concepts

• Walk the fine line between innovation and feasibility

Your qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Sciences or similar field

• At least 3 years of experience as technologist/maker/prototyper

• Expert in prototyping technologies from Arduino to HTML

• Able to code and to make hardware “talk” to software

• You know what a PCB is and you are as well able to make one

• Up to date with digital trends and possibilities

• Proactive, solution-oriented and self-motivated, able to work as a part of a team in a fast-paced environment

• Fluent in English - other languages are a plus

• Experience in the Chinese market is a strong benefit, particularly mobile
