No.39 Introvert and extrovert

Although introvert and extrovert personality types differ from one another on various grounds, the major difference between the two is their source of rejuvenation. While for extroverts, this may mean interaction or excursions with friends and family, the same may mean reading a book or listening to music for introverts.

1. No.130 Omniscience-use of reference books

Omniscience may be a foible of men, but it is not so of books. Knowledge, as Johnson said, is of two kinds, you may know a thing yourself, and you may know where to find it. Now the amount which you may actually know yourself must, at its best, be limited, but what you may know of the sources of information may, with proper training, become almost boundless. And here come the value and use of reference books—the working of one book in connexion with another—andapplying your own intelligence to both. By this means we get as near to that omniscient volume which tells everything as ever we shall get, and although the single volume or work which tells everything does not exist, there is a vast number of reference books in existence, a knowledge and proper use of which is essential to every intelligent person. Necessary as I believe reference books to be, they can easily be made to be contributory to idleness, and too mechanical a use should not be made of them.

Wind’s air moving around. Some winds can move as fast AS a racing car, over 100 miles an HOUR. Winds can travel around the world. Wind CAN make you feel cold because you lose heat from your body FASTER when it is wirdy. Weather forecasters need to KNOW the speed and direction of the wind. The strength of wind is measured using the Beaufort scale from wind force when there }s no wind, to wind force 12 which can damage houses and buildings and is called hurricane force.

4. No.47 Edison

Like Ben Franklin, Thomas Alva Edison was both a scientist and an inventor. Born in 1847, Edison would see tremendous change take place in his lifetime. He was also to be responsible for making many of those changes occur. When Edison was born, society still thought of electricity as a novelty, a fad. By the time he died, entire cities were lit by electricity. Much of the credit for that progress goes to Edison. In his lifetime, Edison patented 1,093inventions, earning him the nickname "The Wizard of Menlo Park." The most famous of his inventions was the incandescent light bulb. Besides the lightbulb, Edison developed the phonograph and the "kinescope," a small box for viewing moving films. He also improved upon the original design of the stock ticker, the telegraph, and Alexander Graham Bell's telephone. He believed in hard work, sometimes working twenty hours a day. Edison was quoted as saying, "Genius is one percent inspiration and 99 percent perspiration." In tribute to this important American, electric lights in the United States were dimmed for one minute on October 21, 1931, a few days after his death.

3. No.15 Vitamin D

Vitamin D is called the sunshine vitamin, which is a pro-hormone. Vitamin D is neither dietary nor real vitamins because it needs sunlight to absorb. If people don't live near the equator, they would not get adequate vitamin D, as their skins cannot get enough exposure of sunshine. People can obtain vitamin D from food, but it is not sufficient.
